Altitude Partners supports 2017 Great British Private Investor Summit
The Great British Private Investor Summit is the UK’s only investor-exclusive event dedicated to discussion around the alternative investment market. In its fifth year and run by AngelNews the event provides support and information for the entrepreneurial investment community.
As a keen supporter of alternative funding options Altitude Partners will be sponsoring the event alongside a host of other organisations supportive of innovative investment models.
Altitude Partner, Jonathan Simm, will be available at the event to discuss the approach Altitude has developed over the past five years in the South of England. He will be on the first special panel discussion focusing upon ‘The superior route to a stronger portfolio’.
This panel will focus upon the tactics and techniques which build a robust alternative investment portfolio. It will include discussion around topics such as Business Property Relief and Investor Relief, features of Altitude’s second fund that enables investors to build a qualifying portfolio.
As Jonathan notes: “This type of event is really important for both entrepreneurial investors and nimble investor groups. The opportunity to meet with a like-minded audience comprising high net worth investors, IFAs and wealth managers is quite rare."
The event takes place on the 25th May at ETC Venues St Paul’s on Aldersgate and will be chaired by Modwenna Rees-Mogg the founder of AngelNews. Other keynote speakers include Peter Cowley, chair of Cambridge Business Angels, Peter Mountford, a recognized and successful financier, chairman and director and Isabel Oakeshott the Political Editor At Large on the Daily Mail.
Altitude’s second fund, Altitude Two, is open for new investors wishing to commit funds of £150k+ for activity focused on investing between £1m and £4m in ambitious management teams leading growing established SME businesses based in Southern England.
